How it works
Choose your routine
How many tasks a day, one to three, on which days, and when: morning, midday or evening.
The task arrives on time
At the time you chose, a reminder reaches your phone, and a short real-world task is waiting in the app.
Do it, then tick it
Count, recall, imagine or step outside. When you are done, tap “I did the task”, and your streak grows.
What a task looks like
Three real tasks from the bank. No screen, no equipment, no preparation.
- Morning08:00Relaxation
Make a cup of tea or coffee and drink from it, and during the first minute, focus on the flavours, the temperature and the sensation.
- Midday14:00Creative Thinking
List five different uses for a pot: for example a drum.
- Evening19:00Memory
What was the colour of the shirt worn by the last person you met today?
Why it works
In the real world, not on a screen
Count, calculate, remember and step outside. The tasks happen in real life; the phone only reminds you.
A few minutes, every day
Most tasks take two to five minutes. Consistency is the secret, not effort.
At your pace
You choose how many tasks, on which days and when, and everything can be changed later. No scores, no competition, no pressure.
Simple to use
Large text, wide buttons and one clear screen at a time. No previous experience with apps needed.
Something good for Mum or Dad
You don't need to be next to them: send the link, help with the first set-up over the phone or on a visit, and from there your parents carry on by themselves. The first week is free, so you can try it together with no commitment.

Who is behind the tasks

Dr. Yossi Halamish
- Cognitive ageing researcher
- over 30 years of research, practice and teaching
“A brain that works a little every day stays young for a long time. That is not a slogan, it is science.”
Dr. Yossi Halamish
Dr. Yossi Halamish is a cognitive ageing researcher with over 30 years of research, practice and teaching. After three decades in the clinic and the lab, he reached a simple conclusion: the brain does not need computer games, it needs a routine. One small task a day, from the real world, does more for the brain than any puzzle on a screen.
That insight became Do4Brain: about 1,000 original tasks written by Dr. Halamish, in areas such as memory and creative thinking. Each one is short and done at home, in the street or at the kitchen table. No scores, no competition and no pressure. The vision: a daily routine that suits everyone, with no equipment and no technical know-how.

Payment is handled by your device's store
The subscription is bought and cancelled in your device's store, so your payment details never pass through us.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation is done in your app store account settings, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
Frequently asked questions
Who is it for?
Anyone who wants a small daily routine for training the mind. No prior knowledge, equipment or experience with apps is needed.
Do I need to be good with technology?
No. You sign in with your phone number and a text-message code, no password. Each screen shows one clear thing, in large text with wide buttons. If anything is unclear, a real person answers on WhatsApp or by email.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing bad. The streak simply starts counting again from the next full day, and your previous record is kept. Rest days you set in advance never break the streak, and after a longer break the tasks just keep arriving.
How do the reminders work?
At sign-up you choose a time for each task: morning, midday or evening. A notification arrives at that time, and tapping it opens the task. Times, the number of tasks and the notifications can all be changed from your profile.
How do I cancel, and what about refunds?
The subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play, so it is cancelled there, in your account settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the store's policy, and we are glad to help.
What details are kept, and are there adverts?
No adverts. Signing in needs only your phone number, no password. At sign-up we ask for a name and year of birth to tailor the tasks; email is optional. Payment details stay with the store and never reach us.
Is the text large enough?
Yes. The app was built to be easy to read and easy to use: large text by default, which also follows your device's font-size setting, high contrast, wide buttons, and support for the VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers.
Which languages does the app come in?
Hebrew and English. Hebrew is the default, and you can switch to English with one tap, right from the welcome screen. The tasks themselves are written in both languages.
